Frühlingsfest on the 15th of May
The 15th of May is known as "Die kalte Sophie, die letzte der Eisheiligen", the day when it can be assumed that frost won't occur again. As of that day, all frost-sensitive crops such as tomatoes, zucchini, pumpkin, sunflower plants can be planted in the open fields.
