We have setup a shared doc to organize the shifts before the Oberfeld Übergabe. If you would like to take part in the regular shifts or act as a sprinter please fill the spreadsheet with your preferences by 1st May. The day after we will prepare and distribute the final plan.

Like in previous years, the regular shifts are just to ensure that the field is watered regularly. It does not mean that you could not go to the Oberfeld whenever you feel like Hacken, removing some bad weeds, killing some Kartoffelkäfer or collecting fresh Zucchini for dinner.
If you don't want to be part of the regular shifts, you can join as a sprinter. These are the pool of people in stand-by to cover a particular day when none of the assigned people can water the parcels. They are specially important during the holiday periods.
If enough people, we will assign at least two people per day of the week like in the last season. You can coordinate among yourselves so you don't need to go every week. And in the cases none of you can do it and it's not raining you can always ask for the support of the sprinters and the rest of the members.
Starting last year, there is a Oberfeld group in Whatsapp which is very handy to share pictures and news from the field and ask for last minute support when you cannot cover your shift. If you are not part of it and would like to join, please contact any of the members of the HFC Committee. This is not a replacement of the blog and the mailing list, which remains and will be used for important announcements and discussions.
